NEOGAGE Analysis – an MSA analysis application

Since its inception, NEOGAGE has aimed to simplify the management and control of measurement systems in manufacturing companies and measurement laboratories. This is why NEOGAGE Analysis was developed – an extension containing a set of MSA analyses that enable the verification and improvement of measurement systems.

The application enables the capability of the measurement system and process to be assessed using three analyses. The first of these is the CGK analysis, which allows the capability of the control instrument to measure a selected characteristic to be assessed. The programme calculates the CG and CGK coefficients and provides values for the systematic deviation parameter, and also carries out a resolution assessment. Its aim is to verify the suitability of a new or existing measuring instrument for production. This analysis can also be used for routine monitoring.

Another of these is a procedure known as GR&R. It involves determining repeatability and reproducibility indices, taking into account the influence of the operator. The final method available in the NEOGAGE Analysis system is the evaluation of measurement systems for attributes based on the measurement system efficiency coefficient, the probability of an alarm, and the probability of an error. Additionally, the programme calculates the Kappa coefficient, which indicates the agreement between operators’ assessments and in comparison to the decision of the analysis leader.

NEOGAGE Analysis is available either as an extension to the long-established NEOGAGE application for the recording and management of measuring equipment, or as a standalone system for MSA analysis. The system can be used by purchasing a licence or an annual subscription. Please feel free to contact us and try the application for free. We provide expert support throughout the entire process.
